Make music your living with rock, jazz, commericial, DJing, live sound and event production.

  • Bachelor of Applied Arts (Music)

    Play an instrument as a soloist and part of a band. Study composition, recording and production. Create a professional body of work in year three. LEVEL 7

  • Certificate in Rock, Jazz and Commercial Music

    Become a practical musician, by developing your musical skills and your understanding of the industry. Graduates can move into further study or set up their own band. LEVEL 4

  • Certificate in Live Sound and Event Production

    Learn skills in live sound engineering, lighting, set construction and event management to become a stage technician, AV operator, sound engineer, crew for live music or stage productions. LEVEL 4

  • Certificate in DJ Music

    For budding young (well, usually!) DJs wanting to become professionals, this course includes DJ performance, turntable skills, the art of mixing and the history of DJ and music production. LEVEL 4

  • Certificate in Foundation Music

    Have a go at taking music seriously on this introductory course, which includes performance skills, playing with a band, professional studies and musical theory. LEVEL 3

  • Certificate in Work Skills [Music and Drama]

    This programme will appeal to students who have some experience with music; playing an instrument, singing or playing in a band and drama; acting, singing and dance.

  • Graduate Certificate in Applied Arts

    Undertake specialised study and practice that extends your prior degree work, or explore a new direction of activity or different media through project work. LEVEL 7

  • Graduate Diploma in Applied Arts

    Undertake specialised study and practice that extends your prior degree work, or explore a new direction of activity or different media. A major project is involved to develop a body of work. Level 7
