Our Wellington campus is a creative hub in the centre of the city. Recording studios and production suites provide facilities for students studying journalism, radio, creative writing and publishing.

  • National Diploma in Journalism (Multi-media) (Level 5)

    Build your skills in research, interviewing, writing, photography and video storytelling. Use your smartphone to be a mobile journalist. Graduates can get jobs in newspapers, web, TV, mobile, social media, as videographers and in PR/communications.

  • Diploma in Radio Journalism

    Learn voice and audio skills to go with research, interviewing, writing, photography and video storytelling. Graduates can get jobs in radio, TV, podcasting, web, mobile, social media and newspapers, as videographers and in PR/communications. LEVEL 5

  • Diploma in Creative Writing [delivered on-campus]

    If you're serious about writing, this programme will help you develop your skills in various kinds of writing, including short fiction, non-fiction, scriptwriting, poetry and writing for children. LEVEL 5

  • Certificate in Multimedia Journalism

    Learn how to research, interview, write news stories for the web, print and radio, shoot news video and take news photos in this introductory journalism programme. LEVEL 4

  • National Certificate in Radio (Foundation Skills)

    ​Enter the high energy world of radio and discover the many dynamic areas of commercial broadcasting. LEVEL 3

  • Diploma in Creative Writing (Advanced)

    Undertake specialised study and practice in the craft of writing a novel, screenplay, short fiction, poetry or non-fiction work. You will have tutor and mentoring support to produce a first draft manuscript. LEVEL 6
