Faculty of Health Research Showcase
The Faculty of Health, Whitireia has a lively and growing research culture. Our key research goal is to develop a platform of research that contributes original and new ideas, interpretations and critical findings and makes a valuable contribution to developing knowledge and expanding practice paradigms in each of the discipline areas within the Faculty. We aim to develop the capacity and capability of Maori and Pacific researchers, and develop appropriate Maori and Pacific methodologies in the fields of Health and Social Science. In this way we ensure the quality of our degree awarding programmes is maintained through teaching staff who are actively engaged in research.
