The Whitireia Foundation 2020 Scholarship Application Guide

The Whitireia Foundation is pleased to offer a number of scholarships to domestic students who are planning to study at Whitireia New Zealand in 2020. The scholarships provide financial assistance for tuition fees unless otherwise specified.

The Foundation would like to acknowledge the ongoing support of its sponsors:

Alpha NZ Ltd.

The scholarship comprises of an Acer laptop and software.

Ford Sumner Lawyers

Awarded to one or more applicants studying community-related degree programmes such as Social Work. 

Brittons House Movers Ltd 

Awarded to a student studying on a Trades programme. 

Gee & Hickton Funeral Directors 

Towards the study fees of a student studying a Bachelor of Pacific Nursing.

Campbell Family 

Awarded to a student who has overcome adversity in some way. 

Kirk-Burnnand Family 

To be used for one or more scholarships at the discretion of the trustees.

Foster + Melville Architects

The scholarship comprises a Macbook Pro and software. 

Porirua City Council 

Awarded to a school-leaver from any college within Porirua. 

Compass Health

Two scholarships awarded to 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor of Nursing Māori and Bachelor of Nursing Pacific students

Red Wolf Security 

Scholarship to go towards the study fees of a student studying either Electrical Engineering or Applied Computing. 

Controlled Building Services Ltd

Awarded to a student who lives in Porirua. 

Nikau Foundation

Scholarships are available to go towards fees of students who are residents of Porirua and who will experience financial hardship in undertaking their study.

EFTPOS Vending Ltd

Awarded at the discretion of the trustees.

Whitireia Foundation

Two scholarships to be awarded at the discretion of the trustees. 

Elite Services 

Awarded to a student studying on a Nursing, Paramedicine, Social Work or Community programme. 

Whitireia Foundation/Ngāti Toa

One scholarship for a student of Ngāti Toa descent.
