Dr Diane Strode is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Information Technology at Whitireia.
Diane’s research concerns information technology project success, in particular how agile software development affects project coordination, project teamwork, and organisational agility. She specialises in building theory from case studies, and survey-based research.
Diane has published in the Journal of Systems and Software, Information Systems Frontiers, and the New Zealand Journal of Applied Computing and Information Technology, in books such as Modern Techniques for Successful IT Project Management, and in conference proceedings including HICSS, PACIS, AMCIS, ACIS, CITRENZ, and CRWIG. Diane was a track chair at ACIS (Australasian Conference on Information Systems) in 2015, 2106 and 2017.
Diane completed her PhD at Victoria University of Wellington in 2012. Her thesis was the winner of the 2013 PHIS-NZ Information Systems Doctoral Thesis Award.
