Research Speciality: Sarita is currently studying her doctoral and her research involves integrating data from various mobile wellness apps suitable for clinical consultation. The research involves various components and relevant research on data integration, usability, technology acceptance are considered here.
Sarita Pais teaches on the Information Technology programmes at Whitireia, Auckland campus. Her qualification is in computer science and she has completed her Masters in Computer and Information Science in 2011 from Auckland University of Technology. She is currently completing her doctoral studies in health informatics. Her research interest is in design science, ubiquitous computing technologies such as RFID, smart phone apps, data integration and usability studies.
She also has research interest related to education, skills required for IT students to gain employment and work integrated learning.
Prior to joining Whitireia, Sarita taught in a vocational institute teaching computer education. She has relevant experience about applied learning and teaching approach which is beneficial to the School of IT.
