Auditions for our performing arts programmes are held in October. They usually involve workshops or group classes, followed by an interview.  

Bachelor of Applied Arts (Performing Arts) 

Saturday 14 October at 10.00 am
These auditions take the form of a workshop in all areas of dance offered – Māori, Samoa, Cook Islands and contemporary New Zealand. At the conclusion of the workshop you will be given a short interview.

Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance)

Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 October 9.00am to 4pm
These auditions include group classes in morning and individual auditions in the afternoon.

Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) [Specialisation in Circus]

Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 October 9.00am to 4pm
These auditions include group classes in the morning and individual auditions in the afternoon with an interview and the opportunity to present a solo piece.

Diploma in Performing Arts (Singing)

Saturday 14 October at 10 am
These are individual auditions you are asked to perform two songs and a monologue, see the audition application for full details.

Diploma in Stage and Screen Arts

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 9am to 4pm
