  • The personal information provided in this application is collected by and will be held by Whitireia New Zealand. It will be used for the purpose of administering and assessing my application. The people having direct access to this information are members of the selection panel, the sponsor of the scholarship being awarded or their appointed representative, and Whitireia New Zealand staff assisting the selection panel. Failure to provide all the information requested may mean the selection panel is unable to fully consider my application.
  • I consent to my referees being contacted for information relating to my learning achievements.
  • If I am successful in receiving a scholarship, my name and relevant study information and a photo will appear in Whitireia New Zealand reports and publicity material.
  • I have a right under the Privacy Act 1993 to obtain access to and request correction of any personal information held by Whitireia New Zealand concerning me.


  • I declare that, to the best of my knowledge, the information provided by me is true and correct.
  • Should I be granted a scholarship, I will endeavour to attend the awards ceremony or send someone on my behalf.
  • I understand that failure to attend the awards ceremony may result in my forfeiting the scholarship.
  • I will produce an achievement statement at the end of 2020 (or before, if my programme of study is not a full year).
